Get ready to clean out your yarn stash!

The Folk School and the Interior Knit and Crochet Community are hosting our second annual yarn swap.

Bring your yarn and related supplies (needles, books, etc.) to The Folk School to sell, then stay and shop!

This swap will work similarly to the ski swaps in town. Each person will bring their stash yarn (and tag and price it themselves prior to the sale). At the end of the sale, sellers can pick up their money and unsold items. There will be an option to donate any unsold goods. We will also have a “free” basket for small bits too short to sell.

Yarn (and other related supplies) can be dropped off from 8:00 am – 10:00 am. The sale will be from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm. Unsold items and money can be picked up from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. This is a fundraiser for the Folk School and the IKCC: 20% of sales (15% for IKCC members) will go toward keeping these incredible local resources going strong!

Selling yarn? Volunteers will be available to help you fill out tags and forms prior to the sale. If you have a lot of yarn, or are having someone else drop off your yarn, you can fill out a seller form and make price tags ahead of time! Click the links below to print out a seller form and price tags. The labels can be printed on address label sheets (Avery 5160) or on plain paper and taped to ball bands.
